Questacon with Kindy
Gotta love school excursions, and Kindergarten’s special excursion this year was to Questacon. I must admit I was exhausted by the end of the day, but it was fantastic. Beautiful weather meant that we enjoyed lunch outside with a run around on the grass, and of coruse we loved exploring in Questacon. Obviously most of the photos I took are of other children so I can’t share them, but here are a few candid shots of Will.

Another great day at Questacon!

Questacon!
We went to Questacon today with Bec, Elizabeth & James. The two older boys hung with the others whilst I took William to Mini-Q. He just loves it down there, I didn’t get my camera out much the rest of the time, but I did get plenty of pics of William playing in the dramatic play parts, the Garage, Vets, Bakery & Construction Site. The other parents in the area were fascinated with the detail and concentration that William showed. He just loves that sort of thing!
Here is another Picasa collage of photos, because I couldn’t decide which one I liked the best ..

Questacon
Well, Daddy took Thomas and William to Questacon today to see the Dinosaur display. We had not managed to make it there yet and I thought some quality father-son time was in order. The only thing is, Sam is clearly not camera happy .. lol .. he came back with 3 photos, and all of the same scene … hehe … and William wasn’t even in focus … oh well .. cute pics none-the-less …

Well, I better go and cut that little boys hair, he is looking a little wild and wooly! lol

More Questacon Fun!
Yep, we went to Questacon again, but this time I just got to spend the time with William. Thomas & Jordan went off with Ashley by themselves, so William and I did stuff that was completely age appropriate for him! It was so nice just to chill with him.
We saw the Dinosaur Puppet show which he loved, and then went off to Mini-Q which was perfect! We had such a lot of fun playing with all the sensory activities, being a Vet and a shopkeeper! And the water play was brilliant!

I was standing next to William and then he dissappeared, I could hear this muffled ‘Mummy’ .. I couldn’t see him and then I spied him .. LOL .. so funny!

Getting Artistic at Questacon
I had my interview this morning for a position at Scouts ACT, and the kids went to Ros’ house whilst I was there. They were then going to meet me at Questacon so we could all go together. As I waited for them I wandered around taking some shots of the art work outside. I had a play with shutter speeds and f-stops, just to see if I was getting the hang of it.

And then just one shot to share from inside, a lot of the pictures I took were similar to the other time we went to Questacon, but I love this one of Tom helping Abby on one of the displays. I so love the hands-on nature of Questacon!
