So, like I said I didn’t take a heap of photos over our holiday. Enough to keep the memories alive though! These last three shots were taken at the airport as we were waiting for our plane to go home ..

Jordan just chilling, reading a Simpsons Comic!

Ok, so Tom didn’t want to have his photo taken! He definately has to be in the mood that one!

And lastly William, playing quietly (actually I don’t think it was quietly as his dinosaurs always seem to make a lot of noise!), you may notice that he is in his pyjamas, not the outfit he was wearing earlier at the playground (see previous post), unfortunately he got a bit car sick and made a mess of himself, and on the motorway the pyjamas were the first thing I found!
So that was our Queensland Adventure, well bits of it anyway. I must admit I found the Theme Park thing much more enjoyable than I expected to, and I can’t wait until next time when learn from some of the mistakes we made this time (nothing drastic, but timing etc).
Now I better go find something to photograph so I can blog about that next …

As is our way we checked out the local playgrounds as well. Being along the beach there were plenty to choose from! On the way to the airport home we decided to have a go with one that we passed in SouthPort (just up a bit from central Surfers Paradise), it was a nice stop and a way for the kids to burn off some energy before the hour drive to the airport.
It was a bit overcast and muggy, so don’t ask me why Tom is wearing a jumper. The same child who wears shorts and t-shirts when it is 13C, is wearing a jumper when it is 29C .. go figure!
Anyway here is the collection of playground photos …

Check out the hair .. he is growing it and I have said it is ok so long as he looks after it .. now he always has a brush in his hand!

This is one of my favourite photos of Jordan, it is out of focus, and the light isn’t great, but it is just capturing the moment! Love it!

I totally love taking photos in playgrounds, you can capture the best moments. Consequently there are probably more photos of the boys on playgrounds than anywhere else but that is life. I guess it does reflect our life, we visit a lot of playgrounds .. LOL

As promised, here are a few more holiday snaps .. this time from our day at Movie World. Again I didn’t take heaps of photos, but did manage a few candid shots!

Jordan meeting up with The Flash, and The Green Lantern! He was rather impressed with that!

The boys and Nanny on Yosemite Sam’s Train, William couldn’t get enough of it, although it was rather mild for the others.

William cruising on the cars.

Thomas, looking rather less than impressed at the temperature of the water .. hehe

Fun on the Merry-go-Round, William went on this over and over again!

Thomas’ turn on the cars.
We went on a few other rides, the bigger ones. But as I was having a go no photos were taken. Jordan just started getting the taste for the bigger scarier rides so I can see that next time we are going to have to split up so that he can do the ‘big’ rides with Dad.
A great day, that wasn’t too warm and a lot of fun! We managed to spend over 5 hours there which surprised me, I really thought the kids would have had enough after 2-3 hours.

I didn’t take a heap of photos whilst we were away, not sure why, guess we were just too busy doing things (plus I didn’t want to take my camera to White-Water World) … so here are a few photos taken our first morning, enjoying breakfast out on the balcony ..

The beautiful sunrise .. it is about 7.00am so I missed the actual sunrise, but it was still beautiful ..

Don’t look down …

The view towards Surfers Paradise .. the very tall building is the Q1, the tallest residential building in the world ..

I took quite a few photos at Movie World, I just have to work out the best ones to share, and then I took some photos at a playground we stopped at on the way to Brisbane Airport at Southport. Those will be over the next couple of days
