Questacon with Kindy

Gotta love school excursions, and Kindergarten’s special excursion this year was to Questacon. I must admit I was exhausted by the end of the day, but it was fantastic. Beautiful weather meant that we enjoyed lunch outside with a run around on the grass, and of coruse we loved exploring in Questacon. Obviously most of the photos I took are of other children so I can’t share them, but here are a few candid shots of Will.

That’s My World: Issue 8

I am trying to get back into the swing of my Photography Meme’s that I participate in. Just been so out of whack the last couple of months. I put in on the first ‘That’s My World’ and then haven’t caught up. But this week I have managed it. The following are some pictures I took at a recent excursion with Preschool. They are at Jerrabomberra Wetlands, which also has an education centre run by Birrigai. Canberra is so lucky, having so many of these beautiful spots so close to the metropolitan area, in fact many are part of the metropolitan area and they only take minutes to get to! I love it :)

Jerrabomberra Wetlands

William and I went on a pre-school excursion to Jerrabomberra Wetlands, run by Birrigai. Other than being a bit hot & windy it was a great day and William has such a lot of fun discovering all the little critters everywhere. A highlight was collecting specimens from the pond and then looking at them underneath the microscope.
