Ok, Ok so its a couple of days late. But we aren’t having a family birthday celebration until Chrissy comes, so it wasn’t until tonight when Tom had his friends over did we have a Birthday Cake. No major birthday party this year, just a couple of friends to sleep over … and a yummy ice-cream cake!

New Camera!
Well Tom got a new camera for his birthday and as you can imagine he has gone a bit crazy taking photos. But that is the brilliant thing about digital, he can take as many photos as he wants! The only problem is that you do need to watch where you are going and what you are doing around the house .. anything could happen!

More Birthday Celebrations
Well it is the weekend of birthdays this weekend, not only is it William’s birthday but two of his friends from school as well, so we are very busy.
Anyway, yesterday we were at Hannah’s party, who actually shares a birthday with Will and today we had Will’s birthday at KidCity, which albeit a bit noisy was lots of fun! Tomorrow is Chloe’s birthday at the Park.
Anyway, some more birthday photos ..
Yesterday we had a small cake at home, as we just HAD to sing Happy Birthday to Will on his actually birthday

mmm chocolate cake …
And then today we had the Party ….

mmmm …. more chocolate cake .. hehe

pulllleeease dad! …
After paying all the money for the party, KidCity still demands that you pay for the Merry Go Round, and a couple of games, skill tester etc. It is the only thing that makes me cross going there, mind you overall it is a stress-free way to have a party!
And lastly thought I would show you the little party bag toppers I made, I used Lindsay Jane’s Icing on the Cake Kit. They were so easy, and the kids loved them!

I forgot to take a picture of the bags with them folded, and stapled over the top. But you get the idea

Happy Birthday William!
That little boy of mine is 6 today, I can’t believe that time has gone and I now well and truly do not have a baby anymore! For almost 12 years I had atleast one child 5 or under, so it is a weird feeling. Any other morning he would have made his way into our bed in the middle of the night, he would have woken up early and would have been surprised. Instead I was awake for almost an hour before he rose, I was getting close to going and waking him up! He got showered with Ben10 things which he was estatic about! now we have a weekend of birthday parties and celebrations, two of William’s friends also have birthdays this weekend!

Before leaving the hospital! What a tiny little thing!

First thing this morning with some of his birthday stash!

Bowling and Birthday Parties!
Tom had another birthday party to go to today, again at bowling! That is twice he has been bowling, and the other two boys haven’t been yet since we have been here in Canberra, oops .. must organise that!
Anyway, it was Chris’ 9th Birthday and 10 boys had a great time having a SpongeBob Birthday Party! They bowled in two teams, and Tom came second, behind the Birthday Boy which is the way it should be! LOL!
I was going to leave him there, but again he wanted me to stay. It was all good, sat back and enjoyed it!
Here are a couple of photos, sorry about the quality I just had my point and shoot with me ..

More birthday celebrations
As well as a birthday cake at home on his actual birthday, Tom had a birthday party at Kid City. It was fantastic, and lucky really that it was there as with my broken arm I wasn’t up to much. I wasn’t in charge of the camera so photos are a bit few and far between, but here is a funny one of Tom, being a ham (what is it with my children??)

March is all about Birthdays!
Well Tom’s birthday anyway ..

13th March, 2006
This photo was taken in 2006, for Tom’s 4th birthday. We had it at Wiggly Worms, no where near as cool as Kid City here is in Canberra, but not bad!

Photohunt #144: Aftermath
This week’s theme for PhotoHunt is aftermath, and I was going to wait until the end of the day and see what came up and use the photo for both Project365 and Photohunt, but then I kinda figured that would be boring, who wants to see a picture of my messy lounge room after the kids have been at it! Then I had a thought, I remember having photos taken the day after Sam’s 30th, and thought they would be perfect. There are a couple photos of us all looking a bit worse for wear, but I won’t embarrass everyone with those photos.
So here it is, the day after …

I will be back later with my photo for today’s Project365 photo!
