Well it has been raining all day today, and although is has meant that everyone has been inside it is a lot cooler! So yay, I was able to do some baking. The kids wanted to join in so I wanted something quick and simple. What better recipe than the 100′s of Biscuits Recipe. I found the recipe originally over at Picklebums, and it is a gem! Now unfortunately I let this kids add what they wanted to them, we divided it up and the kids went to it (hmmm sometimes I do wonder about the risks involved in this …)

I wasn't quite so adventurous with mine! Just plain ol' currants!

Definitely love rainy afternoons! And because of the cool weather I have a Roast Chook in the oven … mmm mmm mmm!
